The Schouwenburg House Estate: Schouwenburg 2, 8084 PE 't Harde

The Schouwenburg House estate is a historic country estate, located between ‘t Harde and Elburg. The House dates from the 17th century. In its long history it has been renovated many times. The last major restoration was completed in 2012. Since 2010, the country estate has been privately inhabited and is not open for viewing. The house can be visited several times a year as part of small-scale events.

Directions to Huis Schouwburg
Via the polder: from the bridge over the Randmeer follow N 309. At the fourth roundabout, turn right Eperweg towards “t Harde. After 400 m. Turn right on the Broekdijk sandy path. After 350 m turn left to Landgoed Schouwenburg.
From A28: exit “t Harde, N 309 through the village” t Harde. 500 m. After the roundabout at the end of the built-up area. Go diagonally left onto the dirt road. End left, then follow the winding sandy path, past two farms, (keep right), follow the bend to the left and you will already see the white house. Note: signs “Prohibited for cars” do not apply to local traffic.
