Pearls in Baroque: Noriko Amano – klavecimbel & Versailles Hofdans, Concertgebouw Kleine Zaal, 6 mei 14h.

Op deze Engelse Kroningsdag past feestelijke hofmuziek door Noriko Amano op klavecimbel, begeleid door topmusici van de Bach Vereniging en het Orkest van de 18de Eeuw. Op het programma staat het Vierde Brandenburgs Concert van J.S, Bach, het Fluitconcert in F groot van Antonio Vivaldi en L’Impériale uit Couperin’s Les Nations. Couperin schreef L’Impériale voor het Franse hof in Versailles, waarbij destijds elegante hofdansen werden uitgevoerd, en nu deze middag opnieuw gedansd door Emily van Baaren.

Noriko Amano heeft in het verleden een aantal keren prachtige optredens met klavecimbelspel verzorgd voor de Geelvinck Salon in het Geelvinck Hinlopen Huis in Amsterdam.

The ensemble further features the virtuoso baroque violinist Ryo Terakado and two brilliant recorder (blokfluit) players, Heiko ter Schegget en Teun Wisse.
