Carole Spencer – fluit Carole won a scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music junior department at the age of 11 where she won the Ruby White prize for final year students at the age of 18. She then studied solo and orchestral playing under Gareth Morris at the Royal Academy of Music, where she played 1st flute in the repertoire orchestra and piccolo in the symphony orchestra. Since leaving college she has enjoyed a solo, an orchestral and a private teaching career in England and now in Holland. Ensemble work is now her favoured medium for making music. She plays with Cadens Baroque, Ensemble VI, freelances for different orchestras and enjoys performing in concerts with her husband and friends.
